The North Penn Winter Percussion (NPWP) is an ensemble comprised of the marching percussion (also called battery) and front ensemble (also called pit) sections that you would see in a marching band or drum corps. Indoor percussion combines music, movement, and thematic material to entertain and educate! Members of NPWP are in grades 9 – 12 in the North Penn School District and practices 4 times a week beginning after the Fall marching band season. The indoor competitive season begins in February and continues to early April.
