NORTH PENN MUSIC AIDES

Director: Mr. Haddad, haddadsa@npenn.org

The North Penn Winter Percussion (NPWP) is an ensemble composed of the marching percussion (also called battery) and front ensemble (also called pit) sections that you would see in a marching band or drum corps. Indoor percussion combines music, movement, and thematic material to entertain and educate!

The NPWP has experienced great success over the years, most recently being named a WGI Regional Finalist! Members of NPWP are in grades 9 – 12 in the North Penn School District and practices 3-4 times a week beginning after the Fall Marching Band season. The indoor competitive season begins in February and continues to early April.

Just like the Marching Knights, there are no auditions or cuts for NPWP – and you don’t need any percussion experience to join! We will train you and find a way for you to be successful on this team! Look for information about Winter Percussion coming out in late October.
