The North Penn Visual Ensemble (NPVE) is North Penn High School’s Indoor Color Guard program. Color Guard is a combination of the use of flags, sabers, mock rifles, and other equipment, as well as dance and other interpretive
movement. NPVE is composed of students in 9th-12th grade.
The group competes primarily in the Mid-Atlantic Indoor Network (MAIN) and also competes in WGI in the Scholastic A class. Members of NPVE practice 2-3 times a week beginning after the Fall Marching Band season. The indoor competitive season begins in February and continues to early April.
Just like the Marching Knights, there are no auditions or cuts for NPVE. It helps to have a background in dance or gymnastics to be in the Color Guard, but it is not required. We will train you and find a way for you to be successful on this team! Look for information about Visual Ensemble coming out in late October.
