You know their names, Lassiter, Norwin, West Johnston, The McLean Highlanders. They were all there. They march fast, they play loud, and they also have great flags. Most were lucky it was raining buckets when we were on. We beat many even while getting drenched.
What an exciting day and what a soupy night. By 6:30PM it was raining so hard that downtown West Chester was flooding. BOA delayed canceling the finals until the last minute. I wished they would have waited it out... even till midnight. West Chester cowboys and cowgirls gave a great hosting show.
The stadium has good seats and acoustics. Westminster had a show centered around a NASCAR race. Norwin's show was called "Tango with my Shadow". West Johnson's color guard looked menacing and hungry. This was a very good tournament. Hats off to all those great bands. I talked to a few Lassiter parents and told them to look for us this weekend.
