It was great to see so many alumni at the Knight of Sound! We had students (and parents) from last year's graduating class back for their first KOS as "alumni" and we ran into several friends from the very earliest days of the Marching Knights. Wow!

We seem to have a tradition of cloudy rainy days for the show but the visiting bands are usually very happy for the turf field and the chance to have their kids come out and really move in front of an audience. How many remember all the "stand still" performances in the gym?

If you didn't get a chance to make a donation at the show, we're still trying to raise money to help the Marching Knights -- the overall economy has resulted in the loss of some funds that the Music Aides have been able to count on in the past, and two years of rainy KOS shows have really reduced the audiences. KOS has always been the single biggest fundraiser for the Marching Knights.

For future activities, we'd love to pull together an alumni band  for an across-the-years reunion.
